Crosspoint Students

Ministry for students in 6th through 12th grades.

Our goal at Crosspoint Students is to create students who are disciples and disciple-makers.

Our Students (grades 6-12) meet every Wednesday night during the school year from 6:30 to 8pm for worship, teaching, bible study, & fellowship at Heritage Christian Academy in Rockwall.

“When I was in high school, my student minister greatly impacted my walk with Christ. Since then, the Lord has placed a special burden on my heart for students and student ministry. I have watched Crosspoint’s student ministry grow from 15+ to well over 80+ and it brings me joy every Wednesday knowing there are so many students with a desire to learn more about Jesus every week. Each week I get to pour into the lives of Junior high and High school boys and it has been a true blessing to see them grow closer to the Lord and community. The Lord is moving in the students of Crosspoint, and I am blessed to see first-hand how worthy He truly is!"

These two experiences were beneficial for me because they helped strengthen my faith and get out and be with Christ-like people. I remember when I first came to Midweek, I wasn't sure if I wanted to be here, but the more I got involved the more I realized that these people are on the same mission that I'm on. Going on trips and being around those people has made me want to grow my relationship with God and be better at pursuing Him daily. ”

Midweek

Midweek is our weekly Wednesday night fellowship. Students participate in a game, worship, teaching, and small group time.

The focus of Midweek is to encourage & inspire our students to take ownership of their faith and live it out through a daily pursuit of the Lord. We call our students weekly to build their life on the foundation of the gospel and take that good news to the ends of the earth!

What's happening at Crosspoint Students?

Winter Retreat

Winter Retreat is a 3-day getaway filled with food, fellowship, worship, and Bible Study! This retreat is for all Crosspoint Students in 6th-12th grades.

LaunchBox

LaunchBox is a week-long missions training experience for students grades 7-12.

Dwell

Dwell is our summer camp for students who have completed grades 6th - 12th. We are hosting a middle school and a high school camp this year.

Meet Elizabeth Fitzhugh: Our new Student Ministry Associate!!! Elizabeth graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2022 with a degree in Communications. "I am very passionate about student ministry because my years as a student were extremely pivotal in my walk with the Lord! I had a lot of wonderful women step into my life that encouraged and helped me grow in my relationship with the Lord. I felt like it was the first time I was challenged to live out my faith and pursue Jesus daily! I desire to do the same by meeting students where they are in their walk with the Lord and coming alongside them!" Some fun facts about Elizabeth: - She is a firm believer that all road trips should be planned around the Buc-ees stops. - It’s her dream to one day drive a Ford Bronco! Elizabeth starts next month and we are so excited about her joining the team!!
