Pastor Nick Gainey leads both our Youth and Worship Ministries at Crosspoint.

Nick graduated from Howard Payne University in 2008 with a degree in Kinesiology. He previously served on staff with First Baptist Rockwall as the Associate Worship Pastor before going to help plant C3 in Rowlett in 2010. Nick served as the Worship Pastor for five years before joining the Crosspoint plant.

Nick’s relationships with the Crosspoint Fellowship and Crosspoint Community elders can be traced back a number of years. Many of these men have not only been highly influential in his life, but are also counted as close friends. Although he hated to leave the many deep relationships he’d made at C3, it seemed the Lord was opening the door for him to move to Crosspoint Community. In 2016, Nick agreed to serve as a part-time worship leader and occasional teacher; and in 2020, Nick officially became an elder at Crosspoint Community.

Nick and Jami met in college and married in 2008. Jami serves on staff at iGo Global as the Launch Box Administrator, as a PiYo instructor and as a wedding planner.

Nick and Jami live in Rowlett and have three children, Beau, Behr, and Carmen.
