Scott Gordon: Ambulance Fundraiser
Years ago, these two brothers watched as their father slowly became the "rescue guy" in their area of Honduras. The citizens would call him anytime someone was stuck in the ocean or the mountains or in an accident and he would respond from his home. Soon, the locals began dropping off any cinder blocks they could find and they pieced together a firehouse. Now, these two brothers serve as the volunteer captains at that firehouse.
A couple years ago, the vehicle they were using as an ambulance (SUV) was totaled in an accident and they don't have the funds to replace it. A new one costs around $15,000 and we'd love to help them.
You may not be able to go on a mission trip to Honduras but you can certainly serve the people in a big way. A fundraising page has been set up and we encourage you to get involved. We are over a third of the way to our goal and any contribution you make will be greatly appreciated!
Let's bless these selfless men and continue to build bridges to the gospel in Honduras!
